Hi All
I'm new to the forum here and I hope I have posted it in the proper place, if not bear with me
On a daily basis I repair CNC machines that can make work piece from 10 mm to 5000 mm Gears in Denmark
But this is something different form what I am used to so bear with me ..... again ......
I purchased a drill / Milling machine which I am working on, trying to build Mach3 on to it.
Ball spindles are ordered and I am soon order stepper motor, controller and brake out board.
On my milling machine is a DC 1.1KW motor with feed back from armature and that makes it very strong, of being such a small machine.
I would like to have the speed of the spindle transferred to Mach 3 and would like to control it using a 0 - 10 VDC signal.
? Should this be done over the brake out board. The speed I want to use an encoder with A, B & A, B-NOT pulse so that it may be suitable for tapping in the future.
In the beginning I want to make it simple, if possibleit.
? Is there anyone who can give me a suggestion?
Best Regards Allan
