I will assume its a stepper thus it will depend also on the microstepping your drive is set to.
For example if it is a 1.8 degree stepper motor (200 steps per motor rev) and the drive is set to 8 microsteps that will mean 1 rev of motor = 200 x 8 = 1600 steps.
Your gearing is 6:1 so 1600 x 6 = 9600 steps per rev of axis
1 rev of axis is 360 degrees so steps per unit (a degree) will be 9600/360 = 26.6666666667
