I am using windows 10 PMDX 126 and PMDX 107 ess smooth stepper Huanyang vfd
Every time I start the spindle in mach3 The reset button go to fault.
My spindle is grounded and I am using shielded cable that is grounded on one side by VFD.

Are you using limit switches? if so are the limit switch wires shielded? I had this same problem, replaced the limit switch wires with shielded wires and haven't had the issue since

Hi,
VFD's are very VERY electrically noisy.
I would suggest as a minimum add a beefy line input filter OR if you want real EMI control......a line reactor.
For example a line filter:

And a line reactor, this one is new but they can be had cheaper on eBay:
https://nz.element14.com/block/lr3-48-5-10/line-reactor-3-ph-3-68mh-10a-480vac/dp/2751053
Note these go on the AC line side of the VFD, DO NOT put a filter between the VFD and motor UNLESS the manufacturer
specifically provides for it.
