Using port 3 as generic IO

I want to use pins 1A, 1B and 1I (1, 2 and 3) as generic TTL inputs. How are these ports setup? High? Low? Do they have a corresponding pull up/down resistor? The lack of proper documentation can be frustrating at times.

They are just like any other input. Use them as Port 3 Pin 1, Port 3 Pin 2, Port 3 Pin 3 in Mach. They are pulled up like most other inputs on the SmoothStepper.
