Interesting interpretation re.,newer pc. I upgraded, thinking that a faster cpu would provide greater stepper stability. Anyway, are you saying that I should delete the macros?

I would try deleting the contents of the M6End macro and see if that helps, or you could just comment out the code in it if you wanted.

I'll give that a try. In the meantime, I have to watch those code sections where there's no M01, which is usually when I use code snippets.

The other thing you could do is edit the M6Start macro to stop the spindle and stop motion and you could then choose the Auto Toolchange option. It would be very similar to what is happening with the stop spindle and wait option with the exception that the M6End macro is not used in Auto.
