I think the first thing you should do is check your GCode ;
Is your machine / Mach3 doing exactly what the GCode is telling it to do ?
If this is true then it is likely that your CAD/CAM software settings need changing.

Perhaps post your GCode file, then it can be checked here.

Hi,

I put my file here. When I start the mach3 I put the wood on to the cnc and the blade to the wood surface and then zero all the X Y Z axises and then start.. But then it will drill strait in to the wood about 8MM

Thanks man!!

GCode looks OK and it runs just fine here.

However, the first Z move is a G00 rapid up by 25.4mm – if your Z axis velocity / acceleration settings are set too high then the Z axis may be stalling / loosing steps during this move and then have lost correct position.
Try halving (reduce by 50%) your Z axis velocity and acceleration settings in motor tuning and then see if this makes a difference.

Hi,

Thanks for the help it helpt me! But now i have a Little problem...

Do you know what to do? The cnc3040 board is okay, and one day I was engraving and after 10 min when it was done so the spindle didn't stop, it keep runnig no difference if the spindle was on or off and the Emergency stop didn't work. So now when I put the Power on so the spindle is Always on and I can't change the speed on it.

What could be wrong?

Thanks!!

I would suspect that the IFR630 (or one of it’s control components) has become short circuit.

Please forgive me, I don't mean any disrespect, but better quality electronics may be the way forward.

Hi Finland,

I can't recommend anyone in particular but I think you should buy from those that offer support for their products and have a known track record.
Perhaps someone like CNC4PC http://www.cnc4pc.com/Store/osc/index.php may have a suitable product.
