Has anyone used SolidCam with Mach3, if so I would like to know which post worked best if any. I ordered a small CNC machine to do prototypes for our engineering lab.  I use SolidWorks for design and our mold shop uses SolidCam. I called our SolidWorks/SolidCam re-seller and he acted like Mach3 was for kids and didn't want to bother.

You can use any post that is for a fanuc and it "should" work... The Solid Cam guy should be nice to you as it is a sale and you can also tell him that there are about 10,000 users of the software in the world! If it was not for the little guy this world would not be what it is today!

So test and see if the Fanuc one works for you ...
