Help with time delay output
« on: January 10, 2021, 10:52:00 PM »
I am retrofitting a machine for a friend with pmdx-126  driving the original parker xl25 drivers. The machine has a z brake which I have relay controlled via output 4. My problem is when I enable the machine the z brake releases instantly and the stepper drivers take maybe .5 sec to power up and lock the motor. The z axis drops slightly due to this delay. I am trying to create a brain that will delay the output 4 brake  release for 1 sec. I tried --- output enable 1 ---- timer  ----- output 4. I seem to be a little confused by the timer config. I initially tried A - delay trigger to .5 and B pulse time to 1 sec. The relay just pulses on and off.  Any help would be greatly appreciated
