Reverse Run stop when G0 ...
« on: October 08, 2010, 05:25:16 AM »
Hello everyone!

When i lose the cutting, i press pause and reverse run, in order to go back to the path. This works fine.
The revense run will go back the whole program until reaching to the line No 0 (zero).

Is there any way to do the following: (?)
When pressing reverse run the program will go back until finding the G0 command and then pause or stop.

How can i do that?
Any ideas?

Just one more question please.

Is there any variable changed when the program goes from G1 to G0 etc...
If so, i can make a brain looking at the revense run button and this variable and press pause when needed. (?)

YOU could look at the prgrammed feedrate verses the rapid feedrate AND if the FR does not equal the programed rate feedhold the Revrun and go back to standard cycle.

Just a thought, (;-) TP

BR, this works, but when the distance between holes is small the program doesn't stop at G0. The pause is not responding fast.
My will is to stop exactly on the G0 command.

I tried to use DRO 819 (which is "motion mode" and works good when forward), but doesn't work at all when reverse running.

Let me know if you can think of anything else.

Try setting the look ahead to 1.
