Random Estoping Kinda
« on: June 03, 2011, 06:51:02 AM »
i have tried everthing in the forum for this issue and still cant fix it . problem is when i activate the y and z limits i cant clear the estop as mach is saying there is a limit switch triggered. but in the diagnostics page none of the l.e.d. are lit. all the switches perform as expected,

-Only happens when y and z limit inputs are active
-they are all wired with shielded cable.
-wired to be active high (y and z)
-tried disabling watch dog and set the debounce interval up to 10000 and no help
-when selecting the Automated setup of inputs and doesent matter what input that is selected mach picks up a signal from port 1 pin 0,
So as far as i know the is no pin 0?  i don't get it. all my electronics are from keling.

What does it show in Config /pins/ports about what the settings are for the limits?

Just a thought, (;-)TP

the xml is the file that holds your configuration settings, you will find it  in the main Mach 3 folder and it will have the name of the profile you are using and have an xml extension.

You use the additional options button on the reply page to attach files, you may have to rename them or zip  as the forum will only accept a name once.
Either that or provide a direct link to where you posted it on that other forum as I am not familiar with it.
