Lossing step on low RPM
« on: April 12, 2007, 10:03:15 AM »
Hi everyone
I have a stepper system that is lossing step on low rpm like at 15 it seems to work alright if I jog around on height speed and if i jog around on slow speed sometimes it losses step . Another problem i have is at about 50 RPM the machine is a little jurke on arch points What i have seemed if I check mark NO FRO on Queue it is nice and smooth but it takes to long for the FRO to respond when you change the cutting speed which dose not work on a flame cutting machine if I uncheck NO FRO on QUEUE the i get some jerking when running the machine but if if you reset the FRO when cutting the setting works great

Please keep your FRO lower then 125% and I think you will have no trouble.
Could you please try Sherline mode for your low speed moves and tell me if that helps
Thanks
