Brain play.....
« on: April 10, 2015, 09:08:42 AM »
Hi all
Just started to have a look at the brain function and have a question. Mainly I can't find cycle start command in the brain editor list.

I want to have cycle start trigger output 1 and  stop (not estop) turn it off again.

At the moment I have a start in m code but if I hit stop,  it stops motor on output 1 but won't restart when I hit cycle start again.

I thought if I use the brain I could trigger output 1 from start cycle and stop buttons.

Once this is sorted id like to add a remote start stop button via inputs.

Appreciate any help on this.

Thanks Dave

You'd be far better off using a screen editor and putting the code straight into the buttons

Can you monitor LED 904 and have it trigger the output?

Thanks guys
Couldn't find LED 904.

Also had a look at the screen editor program but couldn't see how to change command.

O we'll, I'll keep playing.

Sorry, it's 804

LED 804 is the Run LED.
Create a brain to activate Output 1 whenever LED 804 is on. It should do exactly what you want to do.

No Operation Pass Signal would most likely be what you want.
