Mach3 gcodes file
« on: February 03, 2019, 09:35:22 AM »
Hello
I had to stop my initial set up of Mach3 for my cnc router due to illness and
I'm re-learning how to set up Mach3 by following the set up videos.

My Mach3 folder gcodes files have disappeared, the folder is present but, when I open it the only file listed is "new drawing" and no code. The road runner gcode file I wanted is gone.  The Mach3 gcode file was OK before.
I found another file of gcodes but, they are .tap extension files.
How do I get the Mach3 gcode file back? I don't know what I did to cause this issue.
I have a valid Licensed Mach3 program.

Thanks
Jon Rodriguez

When you load your Gcode select ‘Files of type:’ and choose your file extension *.tap, *.txt, etc, etc.

There are many Gcode files to practice with in the .zip file here https://www.machsupport.com/forum/index.php?topic=18345.msg126486#msg126486

The Gcode folder you have lost is attached – just unzip and copy the folder Gcode to your Mach3 folder.
